That has always been one of the real draws to Frac flying, for people who live in remote places who don't want to non-rev commute to work.
Exactly. I moved for my first airline job so I could live in base. Hated where I lived, but still better than commuting. Now I'm fortunate enough to love where I live and have no intention of uprooting again.
People may come on here and talk about fractional v's 121 pay, but being happy is my top priority. Commuting and / or moving to some crap hole kinda gets in the way of that.
If I'm fortunate enough to get a phone interview and they ask me that question I'll be honest and say no way.
If that puts me out of the running then so be it.
