The issue with the management pilots is that they are all encased in the palace and never fly the line. When they do fly the line they fly with each other. They tell each other what they want to hear.
I don't think you know how it works in this industry. In order to strike (legally) under the Railway Labor Act the National Mediation Board needs to release both parties (management and pilot group) to self help (i.e. strike). This starts after a 30 day cooling off period. Only problem with this is the National Mediation Board will NEVER release anyone to the 30 day cool off that can be followed by self help.

For example Republic voted 99.25% to strike with 98.86% of eligible voters actually voting. Quick math shows that, of the pilots that voted, only 4 pilots voted to not strike. This was in November of 2011.

Moral of the story: There will be no strike. The National Mediation Board prides themselves on the number if strikes they prevent.
