We may also want to look into creating a program like Delta's DPMA which functions as financial assistance program for their disabled pilots. For those who have never heard of it, it was started way back when by Chicago and Southern Airways and continues to operate on behalf of Delta pilots to this day. If you guys decide to do that I am sure the jetBlue pilots can help you out. We have the BPF (blue pilot fund) to help guys when things like this happen. It is well run and all done by pilots.
