Skypilot has good advice, don't take reserve personally. Crew support's job is to staff flights, it's just business to them. As CCB mentioned they often don't do the logical thing like releasing you early when there is a .1% chance they could actually use you.

From what I've seen, people get most frustrated with CS when they commute to reserve. When not getting that early release means you miss the last flight home, you can get pretty bitter. If you live in base, not getting early release just means you get home a couple hours later.
Its not personal, but its your life, and when they play the games that they do, it gets old, real fast. Just because it hasn't happened to you yet, doesn't mean its not around the corner. With the staffing where it is, this spring and summer are going to be epic, expect reserve lines to grow and lineholders will be "reflowed" like there is no tomorrow. SKYW wants 70 a month, and every month they fail to achieve that goal means lineholders are gonna be abused. The next 2 summers are gonna be, make or break. Hold on its gonna be a wild ride, and not having a CBA is gonna make it real interesting.
