Perhaps someone has an ill or elderly parent who requires constant or significant care? Or maybe a new or special needs child? This isn't really all that hard to grasp. And if pulling a few shifts in the office (as opposed to boring holes in the sky and sleeping in hotels) is what it took to earn that time, I'd go for it.
