Nope, this is old news. The xjt MEC rolled over on this issue over 4 years ago when Skywest bought us. Now we have to deal with it. Management doesn't want to merge the airlines. The only way is for Skywest pilots to unionize AND demand a merger or a single carrier petition that will most likely fail at this point in time.
The failure of the XJT MEC is well known. I am simply pointing out that no one has made the connection on these msg boards between Mesa and Expressjet. Seems like kind of a big deal to those involved. I have yet to hear of any comparison from anyone on any message board. Not that it matters, just an observation on my part.
