Somewhat of a crystal ball, but it is possible that folks felt the same way about Keller in 2000, then it started making all those Best Places to Live lists and top suburbs lists and the whole world (and traffic) invaded. Drive up and down 377 on a weekend and you will slit your wrists.
Me personally I would look at Colleyville, Coppell or West Plano area due to schools etc.
Also take a hard look at Grapevine.
Just speaking for me but I am the type of guy who hangs out at Barnes and Noble often (with and without the family) and hits Starbucks frequently. Also, taking kids to mall or movie theater without a huge drive is important. Not that I have ever needed it, but the paranoid pilot / dad in me is comforted that multiple 24/7 major hospital ER's are nearby. And if my wife's Honda Odyssey needs service while I am on a trip, she has five dealers within a 30 minute circle.
So my needs are satisfied more by those above cities. Azle and Aledo you are gonna have to drive a ways to do that.
