If you get a CJO and it comes out somewhere (when offering you a class, background check, etc) that you haven't even been approved to leave AD, there's a strong perception that you've tried to game the system...which is exactly what you have done.
At that point, you're done at Delta. It's one thing if the situation is out of your control. This situation is completely within your control.
