I attached a letter of recommendation to my application along with a cover letter and my resume. The LOR was from a NetJets pilot who used to work with me. I had mentioned his name on the application where it asked where I had heard about the job. The call came for the phone interview a day or two after I attached the LOR. I don't know if that prompted the call or not.
