I won't call you an idiot...just really bad at research. Try reading some of the other threads about AWAC before making such a definitive statement.

Even before recent AWAC announcements, it has been stated ad nauseam that the flying does not end this year that was for the original contract which included an extension to 2017 if incentives were met. Of course they were met and the flying will continue until at least 2017.

Much less sure is what happens after that, but the failure of the Delta deal seems to have solidified our future with AA. There is talk now of an 8 year extension...but what ever it is, management said they will be announcing something soon.
