Not sure I want to jump too deep into this....... But Timbo is really only speaking of perspective and experience with choices made with the cards in hand. I would bet a glass of wine that Timbo totally understands that what must be done, is for the benefit of the pilot and the family. Some choices are harder than others. Maybe Timbo had better choices but elected to stay with certain ones because of short term issues. Therefore, did not realize the long term cost, hence the advice "live where you wnt to spend your time off" I guess what I am trying to say is, make the best decisions and like always take advice and use what is good....nothing personal....
