Employers these days (aviation and non-aviation) are not so wary of online degrees (they were five years ago) but they are still leery of diploma mill degrees. As a guy who used to hire people, national university, university of phoenix, and the like simply did not carry as much weight as a degree from an established traditional school.

In aviation most employers will accept anything accredited to check the box, although a very few do have a rep for preferring "name brand" schools.
