I haven't started an online degree program yet but I like how Western Governor's University is structured for IT related degrees (which may be a better idea than an aviation degree if you're able). If you're already in IT, your IT certs count towards credits and their coursework will get you some of the common industry certs. For the degrees they have, I'm not really sure you'd get much benefit of physically attending a school. When I went through the CCNA coursework at a local college, almost all of it could have been done remotely. Not sure if an aviation degree would be cheaper for me though, since I already have helicopter ratings up to CFI & also working in IT currently.
