As far as What Notahobby7 said, he definitely nailed it. I'm the same age and am hoping for a good contract within the next 2 years, 3 years max (would be some serious BS if it took that long) but whatever happens even a 40 year old leaving here has a quarter of a century left flying. Though not ideal and every day counts with seniority, rolling the dice and sticking around may pay off. The retirements don't really get rolling for another 3 years anyway at the legacies.
some of you guys need to move to New Jersey, 5 minutes from parking the car to getting on the plane, nice TSA people, the guy hustling for Credit cards is always nice, gate agents are great, crews are great, easy flying. Its like going flying with your buddy for a hundred dollar hamburger only you get paid a little and it's an Airbus not a 172
