The only reason new-hires went to the 175 is because there wasn't enough current pilots bidding it. They don't have that problem anymore, when this all shakes down they'll be the junior pilots in the junior base only moving backwards in seniority until every pilot in the entire company has had a chance to transition. I wouldn't even think about it unless you loved ORD, reserve, week-days off and TDY.
