A friend of mine was hired at Expressjet with 250 RW hours and 500 FW hours because we fall under the 750 hour rule. It's up to each airline though to decide if they will count any rotary wing time towards total time. For example, Skywest will count one hour of fixed wing time for every two hours of rotary time.
Gotcha. Sorry, I was a little slow on this. A guy that was hired a few classes ago was a Marine RW guy, then went to the V-22 (still powered lift). I believe the trick was that he had to be eligible for the fixed wing R-ATP. Call the recruiters and ask.
