During my midphase CPO newhire meeting, the CP went through the ratings and comments with me. No names attached, just the raw grades and comments grouped by grading area.

I don't know what else happens to the comments unless there's an issue that needs to be addressed, but I appreciated reading them though personally I think most Capts are reluctant to be critical.

Some examples from mine:

"Of all the new first officers I've flown with, he is definitely one of them."
"Shows up to most flights. Often on time."
"Amazing customer engagement. Ensured they were kept informed by responding to radio calls on the PA."
