The downside for Delta is that management may want to roll back our work rules to yours, like axing min day pay. Compensation is a lot more than just pay rates. Of course, our CEO also just sent out a memo in which one of his goals this year is to finalize the new PWA before the actual amenable date of 12/31/15. It seems that he has a hard on for one upping Parker, and wouldn't put it past him to play nice ball, just to take the wind out of AA's sails about how well they treat their employees. Look what he did with the FA's pay, and saying Parker is wrong about PS.
This is quite possible however whether we vote no or yes we still won't have the min day. It will either be higher pay without min day or the same low pay without min day. From a negotiating standpoint for delta I think the higher pay version is better. Delta already has combined the Dom/intl and I think have implemented HBT so I'm not sure what Delta would gain by us voting no.
