Bonus if they'd give me suggestions for things within my control I could do to improve my state. I understand AeroCrew does this for a Benjamin. I've done it gratis for many I know, but I've seen probably only a score of them, the pros have likely seen hundreds.
2) if I was competitive, drop the bones for ECC or AeroCrew prep.
For the record, I'm not associated with either program, and manged to be hired under the blind squirrel rule without using either. But nearly every other pilot I know who had been hired on this wave has used one of them or even both. I've talked to Albie from ECC and based on my discussion and other fellow pilots who know and have flown with him, assess him as a genuine righteous dude. Nothing but positives either from ACS.
Expensive? Yes. Just like buying your interview threads. Worth it? I guess that's up to you to decide.
Completely agree with you about the above. I'm Hopeful it's this year and early this year. Recently became acquaintances with an individual who does interviews for DL and she checked for gramar and spelling and also stated my record is clean and competitive. Said it will hopefully be soon.
Also, paid for a prep program and can contest ECC is awesome. They really help one to understand the question and also know how to view the question. There really is a science behind it.
