Seatac has been down much of the week due to low vis. So has much of the PNW. The only TO alternate available for us was Klamath Falls. As we taxied for takeoff we heard two Delta flights ask ground to pull off in the run up area because they figured out that their ops specs did not allow them to use Klamath as an alternate. I hope the passengers on those two 737-800s enjoyed the parade of Alaska aircraft taking off while they sat waiting for the weather to improve (or until management got their S together)

It's not even a good try Mike. Got too many friends at Alaska and vice versa for many here. Regardless of what happens in the marketplace, they'll still be my friends and vice versa.
