Default "No"thing to Fear.

Lots of excellent debate on what appears to be a no win situation.

However "No" is the answer and I will tell you why.

Over the past decade airline execs had all the wind at their backs. Chapter 11 to destroy our contracts and profession. Little to no retiring pilots and a 5 year stagnation with age 65.

Now the wind is at our backs. Record profits and low jet fuel prices require growth. The upcoming massive retirements will require all hands on deck. Every American pilot going above and beyond each and every day. Even with that level of cooperation, it will be a daily challenge.

A "No" vote may seem to be playing into management's hands, but in reality it sends a crystal clear message. Their position that pilots should continue their concessions during record profits is UNACCEPTABLE.

Doug Parker may think employees don't matter, but he is just not very bright.
