They can't predict upgrade time. There is no mandatory retirement age. They did say that it would not be a quick upgrade like it was back in the days.
So, armed with the knowledge that a new hire will literally never upgrade here (no mandatory retirement age), why would anyone want to go work there? Isn't this just another dead end job? Or are people just grabbing the free type rating and leaving? I would expect the turnover for new hires to be extremely high within their first 1-2 years.
