I saw it for what it was, somebody joking "I could kick Tyson's a**." I responded in kind the way his buddy might say "you haven't been in a fight since that girl kicked your a** in the third grade." Just a little back and forth, not meant to be literal.

Having said that, I've got a lot of time on the 73ER and the problems posted here are way overblown. A couple of years ago I was non-reving on an Airbus from EWR to SFO. Open seat next to me, no worries, when they pull me and some others for a weight issue. Early October winds and CAVU on both ends, so extra fuel wasn't an issue. The Captain did a great job negotiating with dispatch and getting us back on, but I was left wondering WTH, that doesn't happen to any 737.

I've got well over a decade on the 73 and unfortunately will have close to two, if not more, before I'm off it. I've flown and wrenched on other airliners and have no love for the Guppy or need to defend it, I just know the realities of operating it. I believe the pilots here who have flown both the Bus and the Guppy who say the Bus is the better plane from a pilot's perspective. I don't doubt the 321 Neo performs better than the 739 Max. However, we're buying 73s for a reason. Sorry if you feel I'm ranting at you, it was just a convenient place to make my point.
