The 321neo, is losing cargo space in order to place an additional fuel tank...not sure how you can call that a 757 replacement.
The fact is that there is no aircraft out there that did the mission the 757 did as well as it did during its time.
Boeing is looking into a replacement but just said that no replacement would be available until 2025!!!
United has put its bet on the 737, therefore the 737-900ER and Max series will be the aircraft that will fill the 757 gap, do it in a more cost efficient manner and work better within the network of United until a true 757 replacement comes out...
Sorry Boeing haters but you better get ready to use a yoke instead of little toy sticks!!
