MY OPINION

He now has complete 100% control.

He has zero regard for the survey. He thinks line pilots are ignorant and slow. They can never understand the big business he and Richard do.

He will "monetize" and "take risk off the table" by reducing profit sharing.

Again MY OPINION ONLY

I hope to be wrong. I know rich could get us a "historic" C2015 IF he wanted to. Unfortunately he is being played with a pat on the head from RA. Think junior exec.
Interesting. I forgot he was the head of the committee you were referring to. He's actually a guy I have a lot of respect for. He's a good combination of having enough intellect and enough guts. I know he's not liked by some N pilots because they felt he was too effective in the SLI, but if it helps, many S pilots think he was too conciliatory.

I have had a conversation with him before during C2012, and in no way did I feel he was talking down to the group, or disrespecting the intellect of the group. I obviously can't speak about his feelings on the survey, but I think both you and I agreed that the survey was poor.

Bottom line: I think he's 100% on our team, and I'm glad he's there. He's maybe not the crazy mofo who's going to force RA to go to 100% of what we want after a couple years of bluffing, but if he was a negotiator, I'm guessing he'd get us 95%, with a minimum of fuss, and no weird givebacks. Maybe there isn't a crazy mofo out there that will force RA to that mythical place anyway, because RA can play defense just the same as he can try for a consensual deal early. So, if we're comparing real guys who have gotten a very solid job done, vs. guys who have not gotten a mythical, pie-in-the-sky deal done (in their minds), I'll take RH.

In either case, he's not our negotiator.

With all that being said, respect doesn't mean acceptance. If he (hypothetically) thought we need to monetize the PS, I'd disagree with him.
