IAH won't get those pilots back in a year and a half. It may get pilots but it won't be those pilots. That is the answer to why this is happening. BTW they have been senior manning the last few weeks in IAH I am told.
That is pretty dark. Manpower planning has warned us that some bases are overstaffed based on FUTURE staffing needs. Sr manning today does not tell the whole story. The reason the displacement numbers are small is because they're scared of f'n up the summer. They will step it up in September if vacancies and attrition don't get er done.
