Wow. I must have missed the pilot harmony module. Wasn't the content directed at the pilot/dispatcher relationship?

I agree that the OET program is preaching to the choir, so to say, but if there is anything that we can safely do to help the bottom line, don't you think we should do it?
Aren't our careers worth it?
I for one think the "momentary blip" may be sustained for a lot longer than many of the analysts do. Key reasons? 1) kids don't "cruise" anymore like they did in the 70's. If they do, it's in a hybrid. 2) OPEC itself is fracked and will take far longer to heal than it will take for demand growth to catch back up with over production. 3) A broken world economy can't afford much energy anyhow. 4) A growing subset that has themselves convinced that energy consumption in itself, is immoral.
So? I'm still long ERY (Exchange Traded Fund). Time will tell.
To your second point? I too would like to see every rural dirt road in my county paved with curbs and sidewalks too. Like my critique however, there is a point where the "improvement" costs so outweigh the potential benefit, that it becomes economically unsustainable. Can errant overly expensive training costs sink the airline? Not likely unless the waste is indicative of far larger problems.
Cheers.
