As I get old and grumpy I really can't stand waiting 20-30 minutes for Kew Cab to show up when I commute in at night for the morning show. I just want to get to the pad and get some sleep.
I've started using Lyft and UberX... it's a little more than doing a solo Kew Cab but not bad.
Lyft has been $17-22 between , UberX $20. This is all inclusive (Kew is $12 to the crashpad, but then after tip it's 14-15....
Best part is you can see where the cars are before you click on getting one... I've never waited more than 5 minutes.
Warning, if you go the Uber route, don't use regular Uber, that'll be $30-40 (although you'll get a much nicer ride in a Benz or something similar...)
