When NYC 717 A opened, the pilot bid and got that award and is still not under a category freeze since the bid required no training and was only a change of base. Now the pilot is free to bid anything he/she wants on any bid, including SLC 73N B.
Yeah I went back and looked and he didn't get SLC 73N B he got SEA 73N B so even if he just got a seatlock, which he did, it wouldn't matter because it's a new category.
