No down vote then, somebody can get some glue and put that F-15 back together. I guess the only proper response is you'll be senior one day, no? Isn't that how it works? I get its not nice to do though, it won't be fun when you're next trip you're with the guy you jumped and he is ****ed at you. Do unto others...
I've been lucky and seem to average one buy off a trip per month but I also don't bid lca. I've seen that backfire when you get a crappy trip on the PBS award and think there's a lca so you're good only to have the lca swap out. I've also seen the pilot getting oe get taken off the trip. It's a bonus when it happens but otherwise its a trip.
I think that's a teenager MiG (replica) not an F-15 but that's ok, I can't tell a 767 from a 777 from an A330

. I can barely differentiate a 717 from an MD88 and don't even get into 737-X00 series differences. I can tell the difference between a 747 and CRJ.
I think the real beef here is the original senior FO already is kind of senior. The ultra senior FO who is snatching the trip could make this same deal with the guy who is already senior so at least he'd get a good trip out of it, but instead is going to the JR. guy who was going to fly anyway. Now the original senior FO is still flying the original trip, the original junior FO is off on a more desirable trip, and the ultra senior sniper FO is chilling at home. I can see how the guy who thought he was getting the week off might be a little bugged by this situation.
