I'd hold off on that "jet type" headset. If you're in the 145, you're going to want a "prop type" headset cuz that thing is louder than Rosie O'Donnell at a gay rights parade.
I wear the Telex 750 with earplugs and I think it works just fine, its better than getting headaches wear the David Clark clamps.
