They are definitely doing this at the job fair. They are definitely telling the ground instructor prospects this when the go looking at Embry-Riddle. "come teach our ground school for 2 years. Then you go straight to the line without having to work at the regionals. Upgrade is 2.5 years."

I guess they aren't lying, but it's not going to stay at 2.5 years.

I'm planning on 6 years to upgrade - so 5 more years to go for me.

Anyone get the wierd feeling you're missing something by not writing in the aircraft maintenance log if nothing needs to be written up on the planes with the new AML?
