Concerning regionals it is variable as well as Scoop mentioned. My average "credit" hours per month in 2014 were around 55-60, but my actual "block" hours (flying the plane) were 27-30. At the regionals we do a lot of dead heading as well and on reserve you can easily DH to an overnight, fly one leg the next day and then two leg DH back to base depending on where you landed on your working flight.

Figure a typical month will have at least 30 hours of flying and will most likely increase in the coming future as regionals are having a hard time finding applicants to cover the flying for those that are leaving to go to the majors.
