The difference is union vs non-union. Delta is unionizing, so that advantage appears to be changing. Also, Delta will be writing off billions in losses on fuel bets this year that Parker didn't make. I could come up with a pros and cons list for every airline, they all would be the same length.

All of the airlines treat their employees like crap compared to professional corporate jobs in other sectors of the American corporate world. The best airline is the one that hires you, sad, but true.
