I live in NW FL and ATL is the goal, but given the choice I'd love to know the differences btw the 2 A/C... Thanks!
I currently fly the 737 and agree with everything said above. As a matter of fact I was flying the 757/767 when I down-bid to the 737 and the cockpit of the 737 was the biggest negative that I had to overcome in my decision.
With that said however, I choose the 737 because I immediately enjoyed a huge bump in relative seniority. I have been very junior (plug) and now enjoy the best seniority I have ever had (Top 20%). It is like a different job. For me the increased seniority was, and is worth the pain of the 737 cockpit.
Domestically both fly similar type of trips, anywhere from trans-cons 1 leg per day, to 3 or 4 legs per day. Not sure how much (desirable) international flying you would see as a new guy on the ER.
When I bid the 737 there was a huge seniority difference - now the difference seems to be a lot less with new hires going to both.
Good Luck - Scoop
