I heard that MESA, RAH and PSA says no to AAG request for them to fly the 175s. Also heard today that apparently AAG went to Silver Airways and they also turned them down since they can't recruit enough people.
They are still in denial regarding the regional pilot shortage situation. The beach party continues as the Tsunami gets closer. At some point in the next 9-18 months the wave will be upon them and they'll be screaming in all directions to be saved. Of course, since it's ALREADY too late, it will be too late then. Look for many casualties as carriers fold and others consolidate as they scramble to react. No regional pilot will remain unemployed though and many will have already vacated that segment of the industry.
Poor bastards, but hey............you reap what you sow.
