But, it's easy to talk tough on the web. I predict the contract you all vote for will be significantly less than legacy norm. And then, you won't find a single pilot who will say they voted for it.

And retro pay? LOL. No me gets retro pay any more. You get "signing bonuses." The last contract I was involved in settled for $15K when full retro would have been over $100K. So, good luck with that.
Yeah, you're right, we should come in with low expectations and cave to some POS, low ball offer so we can get this behind us. Count me out. This pilot group has surprised a lot of people. You should come walk in our next picket line, you'd be impressed with the focus and drive. Our actions prove we're not interested in getting paid bargain basement wages at the most profitable company in the industry. It's not tough talk either, I will wait however long it takes. Most don't care if this place folds, it's better than bringing the industry down. Almost half the pilots showed up to picket, traveling from all over the country to do it. This group is ready to fight for what every airline pilot expects: a fair contract with realistic pay, schedules and benefits. As a fellow pilot, you should be supporting this. If we fail, you and the others in this line of work will be feeling it.
