SkyWest needs people, and they are not getting enough.

I think word is getting out that SkyWest is just like all the other regionals except there is no flow, pays the same or less, no contract, and upgrade is longer. The advantage, if there ever was one, is diminishing.

Word from last week was that of 12 people scheduled for interviews one day, zero showed, with no notice.

A friend that just interviewed with Delta a couple of weeks ago had 15 other pilots in his interview group, all of them got hired.

Things are starting to get interesting.
I was just in the training center last week and they had 10 guys in for the interview one day. I saw this with my own eyes. So, not sure what's really going on...
