We used to go everywhere in that old 195. A couple of kids, a couple of dogs, fishing poles and lots of memories.
I'd like to have one of my own one these days but there are two things I'd change. First off I'd replace the rear oleo strut with the spring kit. It seems that we were always looking for a refill on that tail wheel strut. The spring kit eliminates that issue. The other thing about the 195 was the electric flaps were always getting messed up. Either they'd not work at all or sometimes one would partially come down. It's not like you really need the little buggers anyway they don't do much, but I'd be sure and have them sorted out properly if I ever had a 195 again.
