The "ER" program is longer and arguably has more to learn. Not only 75-76 differences, but a million variants of each and a wildcard variety of FMS's and minor differences sprinkled around. Plus the international theatre ops, visa/second passport hassles and all that. Its not 10 times harder by any means. Its probably not 1.1 times harder. But it is more to do, takes longer and will arguably require more studying.
Plus there are steps to the cockpit.....lessee is it up or down......?
