Announcing "stable" on an approach has got to be the most absurd thing they've ever asked us to do and have a hard time envisioning seeing any more than 50% of the pilot group ever actually verbalizing that call out any time in the future.
Its a USair procedure... all of their pilots do it... If you want to be treated like a professional then act like one...
