That said, DAY and TYS seem to both be offering a rapid rise in seniority, thus better schedules right off the bat. If you and your family wants to live in either of those areas QOL will be very high.
TYS has one advantage over DAY...there is no state income tax in Tennessee. The extra money in your pocket might have a positive impact on your family's quality of life.
