Yeah..that's what I heard also. But evidently there's room for an extra bank in SLC, so they may have no choice but to put the 717 out here instead of building rotations out of DTW and NYC. Seems kinda dumb to fly a 717 DTW-MCI-SLC-LAX to get across the Rockies and serve the west coast when we could do it smarter out of SLC. (..but we used to fly ATL-TUL-OKC-SLC in the 727, so what do I know?!)
I hope you're right about LAX777..
And maybe we'll get lucky and all of the B gates in SLC will be filled with 717's instead of RJ's by the end of 2015..
