240K is a lot! What do you mean by Delta restaurants? Marriott rewards card seems like a good option then. I've been looking into the chase sapphire card and the barclaycard arrival plus as well. With all your delta miles, do you get access to the delta sky club?
YMMV. I fly almost exclusively on Delta and barely made Silver status last year. A 1-hour flight to/from CVG every month doesn't mean a whole lot. Depends on your aircraft/base. While anybody can be assigned anything, I always ride company airplanes on the long DHs to/from Asia. Maybe I'll have a few short DHs around Asia during my pattern. JFK 767 guys have some trips where they'll commercial you from home to Bahrain and back at the end, so that could add up. I'd say in general the 747 guys DH on commercial carriers a lot more than we do.
