Remember as a probationary pilot they can fire you for not reporting for work, strike or no strike. And you can bet that no military leaves will be approved during a strike.

If you have a termination on your PRIA, you can kiss an airline career goodbye, at least with the Majors. And you don't want to be known as a scab...that will ruin your life, unless you don't mind being a professional outcast.

Think this one over carefully. It's lose/lose if a strike goes down...and these guys seem pretty serious that it's going to take a strike to remedy the problems at their airline.

P.S. You just don't "go on orders" at any airline. You have to be granted military leave unless your unit get activated and deployed. No airline is going to be granting military leave during a strike, especially to a probationary pilot.

I'd take them at their word if I were you.
