Did I miss something WRT interaction/posting on a blog site? I came for advice in a world I know little about. I humbly look for opinions and advice from people in "the know." The idea of flying for an airline is exciting for me. I want to make an informed decision....and talking to people in the industry seems like a good way to learn....perhaps my thoughts are inaccurate?
BTW...corporate intrigues me also...I just don't know how to get into that type of work...yet.

Unfortunately THIS IS the underworld of airline aviation. A recurring theme among many threads on the internet where "my airline is better than yours", "you're an idiot", etc. etc. Might as well get used to it. You just have to dig thru all the trash to find the nuggets of truth thats available out there. Having said that, I think if you join an airline that goes on strike, you need to support the picket line rather than run off on orders "so you dont look bad to the company" while others do the heavy lifting. We already have the few "no" voters who plan on going on FMLA so they have an excuse for the company why they cant fly. Grown men need to grow a backbone for crying out loud.
