Snow/cancellations/delays... advice!
I age been in a few of these IROPS over the years and it's amazing at how long it takes for some of these airlines to catch up, crews stuck out on layovers for days ..... Just because it may no longer be snowing doesn't mean there won't be further delays ahead ....

Last year in the heat of it all. We had a airplane in JFK and ORD that had runway overrun incidents , and if I recall the snow wasn't too bad at that point. But man that through a wrench into what already was a bad situation.


If this job truly means that much to you, I would def drive ..... Don't rely on a chance just cause there is a so called 3 inches forecast etc.

As a bonus , during your interview you may get a chance to mention how this met so much to you that driving was not even a choice ...

I am sure in recruiter or management personal would love to see that devotion.
