Jumpseat question....Going to St Marten in Feb....As a Delta pilot, is the jumpseat process the same as a normal domestic flight?

Fly confirmed for less question....If I purchase a refundable Fly Confirmed for Less ticket for my wife, can I turn it in for a refund a day prior to the trip, if the loads look good for nonrev in instead?
