Under the old system as I posted in base reserves always had priority over out of base white slips. If they submitted a yellow slip they went first. The company demanded the change as it reduces costs and manning. Even when on reserve I liked the system because out of base guys often saved me from having to fly a crap trip I was sure I was going to get.
