I think you're right. Delta earned $4.5Billion in 2014. Some people estimate 2015 will be a $6Billion year. Some also estimate that 2015 profit sharing will be between 20% to 25% of our 2015 W2. Obviously a lot can happen in 12 months. Not that I don't think we all still deserve more for the last decade of sacrifices, but after 17 years at Delta it's nice to finally get a portion of it back. Hopefully DALPA won't negotiate to cap it, reduce it, or exchange it away for higher pay rates.

I hope that Alaska pilots are able to get more rewards from their company as well. As professional aviators for U.S. based carriers with the highest safety record on the globe, I think we all deserve it.
